Where to apply IEC code and what are document requirement for Applying IEC? 


                       IEC code is one of the most Important documet that required at the time of trading aborad, IEC registration has very simple an easy process, it can be done by enterpreneur or any Individual easily,

If your wish to register a IEC code then you should always keep the below points in you minds that,

List of Document Required for  applying IEC (Import export) code

A) In case of Proprietorship


a)  Pan Card of proprietor.
b) Aadhar Card/ Voting Card / Driving Licence/ Passport ( any one is mandatory)
c) Utility bill (Light bill copy / Telephone bill / Gas bill) (Any one is mandatory)
d) Cancel Cheque of current account or its bank statement is compulsory.
e) DSC (Digital signature certificate). 
f) Registered Email-Id And mobile number.

B) Other then proprietorship, it may be Private Limited or LLP


a) Pan Card of company.
b) Aadhar Card/ Voting Card / Driving Licence/ Passport ( any one is mandatory) of all directors.
c) Company incorporation certificates. 
d) Utility bill (Light bill copy / Telephone bill / Gas bill) (Any one is mandatory) of registered office for address proof.
e) DSC (Digital signature certificate) of any one designated director.
f) Registered Email-Id And mobile number.
g) Cancel Cheque of current account or its bank statement is compulsory.

   This documents mentioned above should be self attested and scaned properly and clerly should be visible to officier reviewing your application,  at the time of filling application you should always keep this documents handy that it will get easy to file your iec application.

        Once you have filled entire application you will have to review your application properly though if in case their is miskate or spelling mistake in application so that can be edited easily.

        If all the details in application form is proper then you will have to pay government fees of INR. 500. as goverment fees for process your iec application form. after making payment you will have to attached DSC of authorized person into your application.

B) What if after following all process if cerificate dos't came then ? 
Ans. Yes, this can be happen due to server problem or banking server problem for making payment for iec application, certain time it can take more then usual time to generate certificate.

C) What if amount paid for iec is debited from account and transaction gone unsecessfull ?
Ans. Amount if get debited from account and transaction will get unsecessfull then amount debited from account will be refuned in the same account within 7 to 10 days from the account it was debited.

D) What if certificate generated but not update on iec portal ?
Ans. After getting sucessfull generation of iec certificate it takes 24 hours to update on iec portal.

E) What is DSC is not able to attached in application at the time of filing  application ?
Ans. Then please check your dsc manual setting, that has been one properly or not.
